Quartz Carpet Open Pore
Quartz Carpet Open Pore is hand trowelled over an existing substrate to achieve a modern, textured, ‘pebblecrete-like’ finish. Open Pore finish is suitable for external applications as well as internal surfaces that are not wet areas (don’t need to be mopped). With Open Pore the areas between the stones are left ‘open’ which means that the finish is water-permeable, resembling the look of a stone carpet.
As Quartz Carpet is a hand trowelled product, natural colour variations and visible trowel marks are a natural characteristic of the finish which may not be apparent in colour swatches or samples. Each installer has a different trowel hand and it’s important to receive control samples from the installer you decide to go with prior to application.

Quartz Carpet Closed Pore
Quartz Carpet Pore Filled is hand trowelled over an existing substrate at 5-7mm thick to achieve a modern, textured, ‘pebblecrete-like’ finish. Pore Filled finish is suitable for internal surfaces (excluding showers). With Pore Filled the areas between the stones are filled with a clear epoxy filler, making a moppable surface.
